Meet Theresa

Theresa describes herself as being “obsessed with helping you use your money to build financial freedom.” She graduated from the University of Southern California with her degree in engineering, hoping to create inventions that would help people and make a difference in the world. Although she excelled in her career as an engineer, she simultaneously was building a robust savings account, a credit score over 800, multiple thriving investment accounts, and even bought a duplex in Long Beach, CA to kick off her real estate portfolio... all by the time she was 26. By the time she was 31 she had $1 million in assets to her name.

After years of experience in the workplace and years of talking to others about personal finance, she realized her true path to help people in an impactful way was to teach financial literacy and show others the path they can take to achieve financial stability and freedom.

That’s when she founded The Millionaire Keys, often referred to as TMK, with the mission of “Financial Literacy for All.” She wanted to ensure that financial education was available to everyone, regardless of background and social status. That’s why she offers speaking sessions at for-profit companies as well as transitional homes, non-profit organizations, and schools. Her sessions focus on getting out of debt, achieving savings goals, and investing wisely, among other financial topics.

As a teacher, coach, and speaker, Theresa advocates for financial literacy and financial wellness in her hometown of Long Beach, California, her surrounding community, and across the nation. She knows that anyone can accomplish their goals and build the life they want to live - all it takes is financial literacy!
